As part of the Federal Government’s JobMaker plan, the Fair Work Act was amended on 26th March 2021 and changes the workplace rights and obligations for casual employees.

In summary this includes new mandatory statements required to be issued to casual employees (both current and new employees) that explain the pathway for casual employees to move to permanent employment (casual conversion) and associated obligations for businesses.
