Senior HR Consultant

We have worked with Australia’s iconic brands, including R.M.Williams, Seafolly, Core Lithium and Easyflowers, to deliver projects such as Culture and Employee Engagement Surveys and analysis, establish corporate HR functions and frameworks and provide ongoing generalist HR services that support a range of businesses to best manage their people.
The Engaged Space is seeking an experienced Senior HR Consultant to join our growing team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries, delivering high-quality, practical HR advice and support across all areas of the employee lifecycle.
As a Senior HR Consultant, you will play a critical role in leading the delivery of expert advice, project work, and hands-on HR support tailored to individual client needs. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety—of work, clients, and industries—and enjoys partnering closely with business leaders.
You will be a key contributor to team objectives, supporting clients across areas including:
- Legislative interpretation and compliance
- Organisational development and change management
- Performance management, investigations, and disciplinary processes
- Development of employment agreements, policies, and procedures
- Workforce planning and OD strategy
- Generalist HR advice to mitigate risk and enable best practice
Your work will directly support clients to attract and retain talent, manage workplace issues effectively, and build high-performing, compliant, and engaged workplaces.
